Senior Healthcare Support Worker – NHS Scotland
Join to apply for the Senior Healthcare Support Worker role at NHS Scotland.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Support Worker to join our team within the Acute Medicine Unit at Raigmore Hospital. We are looking for a motivated, caring and compassionate nurse who is able to work well under pressure, who is experienced or looking to gain experience within an acute hospital environment.
The Acute Medical Unit covers acute assessment unit, medical high dependency and ambulatory emergency care. The ward GA admits acutely unwell people from the community and ED. It is a fast paced and busy environment, and a very interesting place to work.
Candidates should be able to work well within a large and diverse multidisciplinary team, and they should have enthusiasm to work, learn and develop themselves and colleagues. We would also expect any candidates to have excellent core values and a strong sense of team spirit; a sense of humour is also recommended!
This is a band 3 post; however, we would encourage candidates who don’t have the necessary experience to apply, and we can discuss at interview how we can achieve the skills needed.
