Job Description Reference HS-AJ-CCC5 Job Title: Personal Assistant Hours: We are recruiting for 9 overnight hours per week, plus optional overtime available on occasion. We are also looking for a casual/bank personal assistant to support with overnight hours as and when required. Location: Rowen, Conwy Rate of pay: £15 per hour Closing Date : 30th June 2025 We are looking for a female personal assistant to support our Dad within his home overnight with his bed time routine, ensuring his comfort and safety, and his routine the following morning. Due to the location, a driving license and access to a car is required. Exemption under the Equalities Act 2010: Female Only. Task and duties, to include any or all of the following: Assist the gentleman with toileting, as per his requirements and with regard to his dignity and comfort, as and when required, including throughout the night Assist the gentleman into his nightclothes Assist the gentleman into bed, ensuring his comfort and safety Offer drinks and snacks throughout the night, as and when required by the gentleman If the gentleman is unsettled during the night, assist into warm, comfortable clothes and escort to another room in the household, continue to assist the gentleman in whatever activity he may like to do, ensuring his comfort and safety Assist the gentleman with getting dressed in the morning Assist the gentleman with his dentures, including soaking and cleaning, to ensure his comfort, hygiene and dignity. Any other duties not mentioned but that fall within the scope of this role should be discussed and then mutually agreed. Undertake any further training, as mutually agreed. Can work flexibly, adapting to the variable requirements of this role as required. The role is dependent upon a DBS and 2 references.
