A new opportunity has arisen for a proactive and skilled Maintenance Team Leader to join a high-performing, well-established industrial site. This role offers the chance to lead a small team of engineers while remaining hands-on in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

As Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring planned and reactive maintenance tasks are carried out safely and effectively. You will lead by example, promote safe systems of work, and support continuous improvement activities across the site.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support a team of multi-skilled engineers on shift
Allocate daily maintenance tasks and ensure workload is prioritised effectively
Conduct and oversee both preventative and breakdown maintenance activities
Maintain high standards of health and safety, including managing permits and isolations
Contribute to engineering improvement projects and support site installations
Candidate Requirements: Electrical bias with a recognised engineering qualification (e.g. apprenticeship or equivalent)
Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role
Experience working with PLCs and/or instrumentation (desirable)
Strong understanding of safe working practices in an industrial environment
Background in manufacturing or engineering maintenance essential
