With a strong pipeline of projects and ambitious growth plans, procurement plays a critical role in delivering complex, large-scale energy assets in a highly competitive supply environment.
The Role
This is a specialist procurement role focused on major equipment packages across solar, BESS, and wind projects.
You’ll manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle—from supplier engagement and tendering through to negotiation and contract execution—working closely with engineering, project delivery, legal, and finance teams.
This is not a transactional buying role. You’ll be expected to:
* Own category strategies
* Build strong supplier relationships with OEMs
* Provide market intelligence and commercial insights
* Contribute to procurement strategy in a scaling IPP environment
Key Responsibilities
* Lead procurement of key equipment: modules, trackers, inverters, transformers, MV/HV switchgear, BESS systems, PCS
* Manage full sourcing lifecycle: RFP → evaluation → negotiation → contract award
* Develop and drive category strategies across equipment classes
* Lead commercial negotiations including pricing, warranties, LDs, Incoterms, and delivery terms
* Work closely with engineering to challenge specifications and drive value engineering
* Build and manage relationships with Tier 1 OEMs and suppliers across UK & Europe
* Track market trends, supply risks, and pricing movements
* Support project teams with procurement planning, cost inputs, and delivery tracking
What We’re Looking For
* Strong experience in renewable energy procurement (solar, BESS, or wind)
* Proven track record managing high-value, technically complex equipment packages
* Good technical understanding of electrical equipment and project specifications
* Experience working within an IPP, developer, or EPC environment
* Strong commercial negotiation and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to operate in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
