We Are Looking For
An Investment Operations Officer to work in the Investment Operations team in Northwich, reporting to Andrew Chase, Investment Operations Team Leader.
Your Day-to-day Responsibilities
1. Providing back-office support within a small team, liaising with custodians and the front office to ensure all administrative functions are processed according to procedures.
2. Setting up new customer accounts for securities investments.
3. Monitoring and posting cash deposits and withdrawals, along with cash reconciliations.
4. Processing Corporate Action Events, including dividend and interest calculations.
5. Maintaining customer portfolios and performing pricing checks for accuracy.
6. Liaising with other departments for effective settlement of cash and stock transactions.
7. Processing quarterly reports for clients and completing monthly internal reports.
Person/Experience Required
1. Attention to detail with accurate and timely data input and administration.
2. Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
3. Meticulous, a good team player, and able to work on own initiative.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Knowledge of risk management concepts to identify potential business risks.
6. Ability to develop professional relationships internally and externally.
