We are working with a well-known premium fashion brand on an exciting Senior Menswear Designer opportunity. This is a brilliant role for a confident, commercially minded and creative senior designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants genuine ownership of a multi-product menswear category Reporting into the Head of Menswear Design, you will lead design across a broad multi product menswear offering. Covering wovens, knitwear and jersey .
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Leading the design and development of wovens (outerwear, tailoring, shirting and bottoms), knitwear and jersey
* Delivering several cohesive seasonal collections a year aligned with brand identity and market trends
* Producing detailed CADs and technical design packs to a high standard
* Proactively conducting trend, colour, fabric and competitor research
* Confidently presenting clear seasonal direction to key stakeholders
* Working closely with Buying and Technical teams to maintain design intent from sample through to production
* Building strong relationships with international suppliers and factories
* Attending fit sessions and sample review meetings
* Managing multiple projects and deadlines to ensure timely delivery of all design assets
* Mentoring junior team members and contributing to a positive, collaborative team culture
Person Specification
* A minimum of 6 years' experience in multi product menswear design
* Retail, Brand or Supplier experience will be considered for this role
* A strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across categories and fabrications
* Excellent knowledge of fabric, fit, trim and construction
* Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, with a working knowledge of AI design platforms desirable
* The ability to balance creativity with commerciality,
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Solid experience managing end to end product development with international suppliers
* Highly organised, resourceful and able to thrive in a fast paced, small team environment
* Confident working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a close-knit team
