Job Description
We are currently working in partnership with one of the UK’s largest gas distributors who are recruiting for a HR Advisor on a temporary three month contract. The role will be hybrid (2 days WFH) but mainly site based on a patch across Essex and Hertfordshire.
The position is due to start immediately, with a possibility of extension. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £26 via an Umbrella company.
The ideal candidate will have access to their own vehicle, be happy to travel across the whole patch to sites, and have experience working on ER case work in industries such as manufacturing, retail, distribution or construction.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
1. Acting as first line support in telephone and email query resolution, coaching managers, colleagues and candidates on key HR procedures
2. Providing accurate advice and coaching to managers on various aspects of employee relations, including disciplinary, grievance, probationary and performance management processes, flexible working requests, maternity and paternity to ensure these are handled appropriately and in line with our policies and legislation
