What The Role Actually Involves
Youll be setting, programming and operating CNC lathes using FANUC controls, producing precision components across a mix of work from one-off parts to medium-volume batches.
This is a practical, hands-on role where youre trusted to:
* Set and program CNC lathes efficiently and accurately
* Select tooling and cutting parameters appropriate to the job
* Produce components to tight tolerances and quality standards
* Inspect and measure finished parts before release
* Communicate clearly between shifts to keep work flowing

What Theyre Looking For

Youll likely be a good fit if you:
* Are time-served or experienced as a CNC Turner
* Have strong experience with FANUC-controlled lathes
* Can confidently read and work from engineering drawings
* Understand tooling, cutting parameters and efficient setups
* Take pride in quality, accuracy and consistency
Hours
* MondayThursday: 7:30am 4:30pm
* Friday: 7:30am 12:30pm (early finish)
* Permanent role within a stable, growing manufacturing business
