Job Description Bank Sterile Services Technician Location: Ramsay Sterile Services Midlands Hub, Kettering Hours: Flexible, zero-hour contract. Occasional night shifts The role: We recently opened a new Decontamination Hub in Kettering in April 2023, and we are looking for enthusiastic, motivated individual who have already worked within the field of Decontamination of re-usable medical devices, or who have completed a recognised decontamination course (NVQ/TVQ/Technical Certificate). The new purpose-built state of the art unit will provide an efficient Decontamination service to 9 Ramsay Hospital sites and will be operational 24/5 with weekend cover. For those looking for progression, we offer training and development including the opportunity to undertake the IDSc Technical Certificate. We are looking for people to develop their careers with us, so if you feel you need to move forward with a fresh start, come and meet the team for an informal visit. What you will bring: Experience as a Decontamination Technician within a health care setting Sound written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required Good computer skills (MS Office package) Flexibility and adaptability Demonstrated customer service skills What is a Bank Contract: A Bank contract at Ramsay Health Care UK is a flexible employment agreement where you are not committed to a set number of hours per week. Instead, you work on an ad-hoc basis, filling in shifts that we have available in our hospitals.
