This role is for a night shift-focused position. As a Trainee Nursing Assistant at HC-One, you will be a role model, embodying the highest standards of kindness in our Memory Care, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities will include ensuring our residents' care plans are delivered impeccably, promoting their independence and choice. We have created a Trainee Nursing Assistant role with an excellent development program designed to upskill and train Senior Care Assistants to take on more responsibilities and develop the skills necessary to become a Nursing Assistant. This includes tasks such as administering medicines, wound care, and catheter care, under supervision.
Upon completing the program, you will receive a salary increase.
Qualifications for the development program include:
* Level 3 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Care (or working towards)
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in Health & Social Care as a Senior Carer or similar leadership role, especially involving medication administration and shift leadership
* Knowledge of person-led care planning and relevant legislative requirements
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the procedures to follow. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional relevant training. You should be able to seek advice and escalate concerns appropriately.
