This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a proven track record in delivering CAPEX and continuous improvement projects, within a high volume manufacturing site.
As the Project Engineer you will:
* Drive projects from initial concept through to Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), ensuring delivery is on time, on budget, and aligned with business objectives
* Responsible for delivering high-impact projects that drive operational excellence
* Support capital investment plans, specify technical requirements for new equipment, and align with long-term asset management life-cycle strategies and systems
* Interact with Engineering management to interpret requirements for the relevant strategy, provide a technical overview & guidance
* Work with the relevant departments to complete basic design concept and understand user requirements, communicate with a multitude of equipment OEM’s (Both National & International)
* Provide a clear and concise case for capital investment with project documentation completed & submitted for approval
* Contractor management and network building
* Weekly updates and monthly reports
To be considered for the Project Engineer role you will need:
* Mechanical or Electrical specialist with a hands-on skilled background in either discipline
* Time served engineer with experience in a production facility environment (apprenticeship minimum) having achieved mechanical/electrical engineering focused qualification
* Have project management ability, with a proven track record of delivering projects through structured phases
* Be competent in managing priorities, timelines, and budgets independently
* Have a continuous improvement mindset, actively seeking ways to optimise and innovate, be proactive
* Have clear communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective cross-functional collaboration
* Have excellent People and resource management, including the ability to influence and coordinate teams
* Have Digital proficiency, with experience using MS Office, CMMS, AutoCAD, and project management software
