Job Overview
Helping service users overcome mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including the use and care of aids and personal equipment. Performing domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes. Providing personal care such as washing, bathing and toilet arrangements. Assisting eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks. Supporting medication administration and contributing to end‑of‑life care.

Requirements
Right to work in the UK, a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle. No previous experience required – training will be provided. Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality respectful care.
Compensation
Rates £13.00 – £16.60 per hour with 2‑weekly pay.
Mileage set at £0.35 per mile. Additional mileage paid if distance between two consecutive calls is over 4 miles.

Locations and Hours
We are expanding our Domiciliary Health Care Assistant teams in our Derbyshire Branch. Areas include Chapel-en-le-Firth, Hope Whaley Bridge and Chinley (and surrounding areas). We offer full‑time and part‑time care worker positions with usual shift patterns of Mornings 7 am/8 am/9 am – 1:30 pm/2 pm and Evenings 4 pm – 10 pm. Alternative weekends are available. The role is ideal for those who want to make a difference at home.
