Our client, a premier consultancy in the engineering sector, is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in the Yorkshire region. This permanent role is pivotal for delivering excellence and fostering strong client relationships, with a focus on projects in the water and rail sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports across the lifecycle of your projects.
Provide accurate monitoring, forecasting and reporting of project costs and programme performance, ensuring value for money and cost efficiency for clients.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project delivery.
Direct and manage client-focused teams, mentoring colleagues and providing career growth opportunities.
Administer a variety of contracts to ensure commercial control and compliance.
Manage contract change collaboratively and effectively as appropriate for project needs.
Provide sound commercial knowledge and support to all stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
Proven track record of quantity surveying and commercial management of major infrastructure projects.
Professional accreditation (RICS, CICES) preferred.
Extensive experience with NEC contracts and similar.
Relevant professional certifications in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
