Job details include working in custody suites, with the flexibility to work across an assigned region in Police Custody Suites and Force area. No previous forensic experience is required as full training will be provided.
Responsibilities
* Deliver healthcare to detainees in custody suites in collaboration with the Police, with round-the-clock coverage as scheduled with the client.
* Provide care that supports the health and wellbeing of detainees, following the organisation’s commitment to healthcare access for all.
Qualifications
* RN, RGN or RMN with dual registration: 2 years post-qualification — Band 5 minimum
* Paramedic: 2 years post-qualification
* Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in a patient-facing role within a relevant field (e.g., General Practice, A&E, Emergency Medicine, acute medicine, Walk-in Centres, Substance Misuse Services, Prison Healthcare or Ambulance Service)
* Driving Licence (required)
* Right to Work in the UK; British Passport or ILR for 3 years; no gaps out of the country of more than 3 months
* All candidates will be subject to Police Vetting
Additional information This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1975; a Disclosure to the DBS will be required. Applicants must have current UK professional registration.
