£20.00 PER HOUR, INCLUDING TRAVELLING, AFTER SHORT PROBATION PERIOD.
Key Responsibilities:
•Install and maintain flue and duct systems for commercial heating and ventilation setups, including condensing boilers, water heaters, CHP units, and generator exhaust systems.
•Use Unistrut bracketry effectively and confidently build custom support brackets when required.
•Confidently measure, cut down, and adjust ducting/flues to fit precise specifications.
•Safely and efficiently load and unload materials on-site, ensuring appropriate handling and storage.
•Liaise proactively and professionally with site managers and clients, effectively addressing and solving any installation challenges.
•Maintain thorough documentation, accurately complete daily site reports, and administrative paperwork.
•Promote a strong health and safety culture, ensuring compliance at all times.
•Mentor and train junior installers, guiding them towards becoming skilled, competent fitters and potentially leading installers.
•Regularly clock in/out, maintaining accurate records of working hours and activities.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
•Minimum of 3–5 years proven experience in ducting or chimney/flue installation.
•Valid CSCS card (mandatory).
•SSSTS certification preferred (training provided if required).
•IPAF and PASMA certifications advantageous.
•Experience and confidence using safety harnesses, fall arrest systems, and tool tethering.
•Strong practical experience with a range of tools relevant to ducting and flue installation.
•Full, clean UK driving license.
