Core3 is working with a growing organisation to recruit a Financial Accountant, based in Bristol. As a Financial Accountant, you'll work closely with experienced finance professionals across reporting, accounting, and commercial finance activities while developing your technical and business partnering skills.
You'll gain exposure to a wide range of finance processes and have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful improvement initiatives across the function.
How you'll make an impact
* Support month‑end reporting and management accounts preparation
* Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations across multiple areas
* Post month‑end journals and support core accounting activities
* Assist with statutory reporting and year‑end processes
* Support internal and external audit activity
* Help resolve accounting queries and reporting issues
* Assist with VAT returns and regulatory reporting submissions
* Support ad‑hoc reporting and finance analysis requests
* Contribute to finance process improvement and standardisation initiatives
* Help ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across the business
Why you're a great fit
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or equivalent
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
* Experience working within an accounting or audit environment
* Strong Excel and analytical capability
* Recently qualified or moving from practice into industry
* Exposure to month‑end accounting or financial reporting processes
* Experience working with large data sets or finance systems
* Interest in process improvement, controls, or reporting enhancement
