We have an opportunity for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join an independent veterinary hospital in Penkridge, Staffordshire in a small animal consultations-only role.
The practice is looking for a vet who has good experience gained in a small animal practice, excellent communication skills in order to inform and support clients and the ability to create evidence-based treatment plans. You will be passionate about keeping up to date with your own professional development.
This practice is a long-established mixed animal hospital with a varied small animal, farm animal and equine caseload. They are looking for a vet who is confident in consultations to support the team by taking on their busy small animal consultations.
This role is part time for 3 days per week with shifts from 8am to 6pm. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

13. Team: 13 vets, 27 nurses and a supportive non-clinical team

About you:
25. Various levels of experience will be considered
26. You will be comfortable in all routine surgeries and consultations but support for more recent graduates is available
27. You will always deliver and be committed to providing a high standard of clinical care

30. You will work well under pressure with a calm and confident manner

35. The role is not determined on years of experience and be catered to suit but ultimately the Vet needs to be ambitious looking to develop your clinical skills and knowledge further

Package:
54. Salary: £35, to £60, pro rata, commensurate to experience
