A well‑established UK manufacturer is seeking a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical background to join their flagship Heywood facility. Youll be working with modern, high‑spec machinery as part of a collaborative engineering team focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence. Role Overview
* Carry out both planned and reactive maintenance to maximise OEE, minimise downtime, and enhance equipment reliability
* Work closely with engineering colleagues, production teams, and other departments to ensure smooth operations
* Maintain exceptional health & safety standards and promote safe working practices
* Identify improvement opportunities and support the implementation of process enhancements
* Contribute to ongoing engineering and improvement projects
Skills & Experience Required
* Time‑served Electrical Maintenance Engineer
* Experience within Food, FMCG, Packaging, or similar fast‑paced industrial environments is highly desirable
* Comfortable working in a busy, high‑demand setting
* Strong team player with a proactive attitude toward learning and development
* Capable of working independently when required
* Open to internal training and upskilling opportunities
