Sales Engineer
The Sales Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key customers, identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities, and closing sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of their TIC(Testing, Inspection & Certification) industry.
Responsibilities:
* Ownership of a sales pipeline, conversion and profitability (with guidance from Head of Sales) and relevant CRM approaches and activities
* Identify and qualify new sales opportunities
* Be the commercial face of the business
* Close sales
* Provide technical support to customers
* Stay up-to-date on industry trends
* Deliver against sales forecast
* Assist to drive and sustain growth
* Quotation and proposal writing
The Person:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
* Previous experience in sales would be very beneficial
* Experience of working within a certification test lab environment would also be beneficial
* Strong understanding of EMC, Radio Testing and Product safety Testing.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Rewards:
* Salary dependent on experience within a range from £35k - £45k
