Learning Support Assistant VacancyLocation: Wolverhampton Position: Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities AvailableAre you passionate about supporting children with additional learning needs? We are an exceptional special school in Wolverhampton, seeking motivated andpassionate Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join our amazing team. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to make a meaningful impact within an inclusive, supportive, and dynamic learning environment.About the Role: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working closely with pupils who have a range of learning needs, including autism,munication difficulties, and physical disabilities. You will assist in providing tailored support to ensure each student has the opportunity to reach their full potential, both academically and socially. You will work as part of a close-knit team of staff who aremitted to delivering high-quality, individualised care and learning strategies.Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide one-to-one and small group support to students in a variety of classroom settings.
2. Assist with the delivery of personal care and social development, where required.
3. Support the class teacher in implementing tailored educational plans.
4. Help students with activities that support theirmunication, social skills, and independence.
5. Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and senior staff.
6. Promote a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
What We’re Looking For:
7. A passion for working with children with additional needs.
8. A proactive, empathetic, and patient approach.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Excellentmunication skills, both with pupils and staff.
11. Previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needs is preferred but not essential.
12. Amitment to professional development and continuous learning.
