UK Spares - Technical Engineer
Worcester Based • £13.68 - £17.39 (c. £26k - £33k) • Band 5 - 7 (DOE)
The Company
Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester.
This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years.
Due to increased investment, our client now has a requirement for a Spares - Technical Engineer working within the UK Service Department (UK Sales) for the Spares Department and reporting to the UK Service Manager.
Jonathan Lee Workforce Solutions are the preferred supplier to Mazak.
The Role
* The day to day running and scheduling of work to the other members of the UK spares team.
* The analysis of data reference on time deliveries and stock issues and reporting to Managers.
* Keeping on top of invoicing, credit notes and credit control as required.
* Detailed monthly reports to managers to consist of delivery data, PIDB statistics, and parts lacking issues.
* The development and identifying training requirements for the team.
* Consultation with customers and other members of the UK service team, informing them of any issues regards to orders and parts deliveries.
The Person
Essential Criteria
* You will need to be focused, productive, confident, and highly motivated with good communication skills.
* The ability to be flexible in working outside normal business hours.
* A good level of computer literacy and excellent telephone manner in what is a very demanding customer focused role.
* The ability to think and make decisions with a minimum of supervision.
* The ability to bring new and introduce new ideas to the department.
Desirable Criteria
* Mazak product knowledge would be beneficial but not essential.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.15am to 4.30 pm
Overtime is paid at Time 1/3 first 2 hours then Time 1/2 thereafter each day. Saturday is Time 1/2 and Sunday Double Time.
