Job Summary
We are currently seeking highly motivated nurses to join our nurse‑led unit as Chemotherapy Sister at William Harvey Hospital. This is a challenging role that requires flexibility and adaptability and offers rewarding career progression.
Responsibilities
The post holder is expected to carry out all relevant forms of care in which they are competent, without direct supervision, and may be required to supervise and support the training of both qualified and unqualified members of staff.
Requisite duties include:
* Providing holistic care to patients and their families throughout their course of treatment.
* Managing empathetic emotional issues related to stages in the patient’s journey.
* Collaborating with all care groups to develop a service for the care and management of patients with cancer.
* Participating in institutional improvement initiatives and projects such as Strategic Initiatives, Trust Priority Improvement Projects, and Ward Based OMS.
