37.5 HOURS PER WEEK 39 WEEKS PER ANNUM Location: Pield Heath House School Reporting to: Principal Our client is seeking a highly organised and professional candidate to lead and manage HR, data, administration, and governance processes within the school. This is a key role supporting the Principal and Senior Leadership Team to ensure legal compliance, policy implementation, and effective operational systems. Key Responsibilities Human Resources Provide HR advice and support to staff and senior leaders. Manage recruitment, onboarding, induction, and compliance with safer recruitment requirements. Maintain accurate HR records, monitor staff attendance, and support absence management. Coordinate performance management and CPD tracking using BlueSky. Ensure compliance with employment law and GDPR. Data & Compliance Act as the schools Data Protection Officer ensuring data security and compliance with GDPR. Lead on statutory data returns (e.g., School Census). Maintain the Single Central Record (SCR) and all personnel documentation. Administration & Governance Manage policy updates and diary reviews for statutory compliance. Organise key meetings and liaise with external stakeholders (e.g., Ofsted, DfE, Diocese). Support formal HR processes including grievance, disciplinary, and capability cases. Person Specification Essential GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or above). HR qualification (CIPD Level 3 or equivalent). Experience in HR administration in an educational setting. Strong organisational, IT, and communication skills. Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Strong team player with a proactive and calm approach. Desirable Experience with SIMS or Arbor. Safer Recruitment training.
