🌟 The Role:

This is a strategic commercial role, ideal for someone with a proven track record in life sciences or diagnostics business development. You’ll drive new client engagement, build long-term partnerships, and help shape the commercial future of a business that’s making a real impact in healthcare innovation.


🔍 Key Responsibilities:

* Support the creation and delivery of the company’s BD strategy in partnership with leadership
* Identify and convert new business across diagnostics, pharma, and academia
* Engage clients directly—at conferences, events, and online
* Maintain and optimise CRM systems for lead and client tracking
* Prepare proposals, client presentations, and tailored commercial offers
* Collaborate on marketing content, thought leadership, and digital campaigns
* Coordinate with technical teams to support grant submissions and CRO program delivery
* Monitor client satisfaction and resolve issues swiftly to ensure retention
* Share market and client insights to inform strategic planning


✅ What We're Looking For:


Must-Haves:

* Business development experience in IVD, CRO, or pharma product development
* Strong client engagement and relationship-building skills
* Working knowledge of the IVD lifecycle and commercialisation
* CRM and digital tool proficiency
* Degree in biomedical sciences, biology, chemistry, or related field


Preferred:

* Contract negotiation experience
* Understanding of diagnostics R&D funding landscape
* Ability to work across marketing, commercial, and delivery functions
