About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Power BI Analyst to join the dynamic Projects and Strategic Development Team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving data visualisation, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives, empowering stakeholders to make informed decisions. A strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric will be an advantage as the firm continues to adopt cutting-edge technologies in its data strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
2. Collaborate closely with IT colleagues to ensure data availability, quality, and integration across systems
3. Work with stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, translating them into effective data solutions
4. Drive the adoption of new tools and technologies, including Microsoft Fabric
5. Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior analysts within the team
6. Ensurepliance with dataernance policies and security protocols
7. Monitor and optimise the performance of Power BI reports and datasets
8. Support the Head of Data and Business Intelligence in strategic planning and project execution
Qualifications/Experience:
9. At least 5 years of proven experience in a similar role, with expertise in Power BI development and administration
10. Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modelling
11. Experience in data integration from multiple sources, including databases, APIs, and cloud services
12. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering actionable insights
13. Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and itsponents is a significant advantage.
14. Familiarity with SQL, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes
15. Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment
