Job responsibilities The post holder will be expected to supervise junior staff. Act in a professional manner, punctual and able to deal with working in an acute busy environment. Accept personal responsibility for identifying their own learning needs and for maintaining their own professional development and mandatory training. Assist in the facilitating of a learning environment conducive to the acquisition of further knowledge and skills and be actively involved in the development of others. Promote and provide health education for patients and their carers/family To promote a professional and positive image of themselves and the Trust. Demonstrate a caring and supportive attitude towards their work colleagues. The postholder may be required to carry out other relevant duties as required. The postholder will adhere to the duties specified under the Staff Responsibilities of the NHS Constitution in their day to day work and behaviours. The postholder will be expected to work to any Corporate/Division/Directorate/Department objectives and standards in order to provide an acceptable level of service. The postholder will be expected to undertake training, including mandatory and role specific training, relevant to their role and ensure it is renewed as required.
