We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive team in a specialist provision in Warwick, working closely with students aged 11-16 who display challenging behaviour and have a range of SEMH needs. The Role: Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEMH needs De-escalate challenging situations and build positive, trusting relationships Assist the class teacher in creating a safe, inclusive learning environment Implement individual behaviour plans and emotional regulation strategies Monitor progress and provide feedback to the SENCO and pastoral team The Ideal Candidate: Experience working with secondary-aged students, ideally with SEMH or behavioural needs Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, firm but nurturing approach Resilient, empathetic, and committed to helping students achieve their potential Team player with excellent communication skills Relevant qualifications (e.g. Team Teach, MAPA, or a background in youth work or care) are desirable, but...
