Short Heath Federation Teacher Vacancy from September 2025 for our Specialist Resourced Provision Full Time and Permanent M1-UPS3 Plus SEND Responsibility Point At Short Heath Federation, we feel privileged to be able to offer highly specialised commissioned places to children with complex additional needs in our Specialist Resource Provisions. We currently have one at Rosedale and one at Short Heath. Then there is a new one opening in September this year at Rosedale, and yet another one in September 2026 at Short Heath. We are extremely proud to be able to offer these specialist places to children with complex additional needs but who can benefit from all that a mainstream setting has to offer too. This vacancy is for Short Heath Junior School. This is an outcome of Walsall’s Specialist Provision Review and part of the development of a number of similar settings across Walsall. You will be working alongside teachers and support staff in other SRPs as we develop them across Walsall – with significant training and development. This is a real opportunity to shape the future of SEND provision in Walsall and a significant professional development opportunity for the right people for whom this is a passion. It’s a really exciting phase in our Federation’s development, as we are the West Walsall Nurture Hub, leading in schools on developing Restorative Practice, active members of the Attachment Research Community as a Learning Hub, working collaboratively on delivering Autism Education Trust training and continuing to develop our own specialist learning provisions in response to an increased number of children with specific additional needs!
