Job Title: Overhead Lines Worker

Job Summary
Our client is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Overhead Lines Worker to support the construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical overhead networks. This role involves working on low to high-voltage systems (up to 35 kV) to ensure a safe and reliable power supply.
Key Responsibilities
* Install and string overhead lines, including conductors, insulators, and related equipment
* Inspect networks and carry out maintenance and repair work
* Identify faults using diagnostic tools and resolve technical issues
* Follow strict electrical safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment
* Support renewable energy connections, including solar projects
* Complete technical reports and maintenance records accurately
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience with medium and high voltage systems (0.4 kV to 35 kV)
* Skilled in cable jointing and terminations using materials such as Raychem, Nexans, or Cellpack
* Strong ability to perform testing, measurements, and diagnostics
* Good understanding of electrical safety rules and safe working distances
* Physically fit and comfortable working at heights and in outdoor conditions
* Relevant electrical trade qualification or engineering diploma preferred
