Fabricator Wanted – Stable Days Role with Early Friday Finish
We are recruiting for a skilled Fabrication Engineer / Fabricator to join a well‑established manufacturing business. This is a hands‑on role within a structured fabrication team, producing high‑quality engineered products for specialist industries.

Key Responsibilities
* Fabrication and welding of metal components to engineering drawings
* Working with sheet metal, including cutting, forming, and assembly
* Ensuring products are manufactured to required quality standards
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
* Supporting production targets and project deadlines
* Contributing to continuous improvement and efficient working methods
* Assisting with basic machine maintenance when required
Requirements
* Experience as a Fabricator / Welder / Fabrication Engineer
* Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
* Welding experience (MIG/TIG or similar)
* Background in manufacturing or production environments
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
* Experience working with stainless steel or thin gauge materials
* Previous work in food, pharmaceutical, or regulated industries
* Formal fabrication or sheet metal qualification
Salary & Benefits
* £30,500 – £41,800 (structured pay progression)
* Overtime paid at 1.5x after 38.75 hours
* Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
* Friday: 7:00am – 11:45am (early finish every week)
* Stable, permanent days‑based role
