Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant - Handsworth
Zest are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Handsworth is looking for a dedicated Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years team.

About the Role
You will work closely with the class teacher to support high-quality teaching and learning within our EYFS setting. Your role will involve helping to create a nurturing, stimulating environment where children feel safe, confident, and excited to explore.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting teaching and learning across the EYFS curriculum
* Delivering engaging, play-based activities under the direction of the class teacher
* Providing targeted support for individual pupils and small groups
* Contributing to observations and assessments in line with EYFS requirements
* Encouraging positive behaviour, independence, and social development
* Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-organised learning environment
About You
We would love to hear from you if you are:
* Level 3 qualified in Early Years or equivalent
* Experienced in working within an EYFS setting
* Knowledgeable about the EYFS framework and child development
* Warm, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting young children
* Able to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team
* Creative, proactive, and committed to high-quality early education

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
