Finance Manager – 6 Month Contract (Renewables)
📍 Glasgow or Perth (Hybrid – ~50% office)

I’m currently supporting a leading UK utilities organisation on a Finance Manager contract within their Renewables division, focusing on an operational onshore wind portfolio.
This is a high-impact role suited to someone who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead month-end close, including review and approval of journals
* Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and ensure financial control compliance
* Take ownership of year-end and half-year processes, including statutory accounts
* Lead statutory audits, working closely with external auditors
* Manage and develop a team of accountants and analysts
* Support transition of projects into the operational portfolio
1. What we’re looking for:
* Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
* Strong knowledge of IFRS / FRS101
* Proven experience delivering statutory accounts and managing audits
* Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
