Roles and Responsibilities: Assisting the Headteacher in the strategic leadership of the school and the implementation of policies. Modelling the school’s core values of Aspiration, Identity and Integrity at all times. Leading school improvement initiatives to ensure the best outcomes for all children. Overseeing at least one key area of school development e.g. Inclusion, Assessment, Pastoral Monitoring of standards including: teaching and learning, planning, work produced by children, learning environments, displays, behaviour, pupil progress paperwork etc. Providing timely feedback to staff and also reporting to governors. Ensuring high-quality education for all pupils, supporting their progress and achievement. Contributing to school activities, such as INSET, staff meetings, and parental engagement events. Line managing phase leaders and any other staff members designated by the Headteacher. Any other roles and responsibilities decided by the Headteacher based on the needs of the school.
