AZ Caring is seeking a committed and passionate Residential Care Worker to join our dedicated team. This role involves supporting teenage children living at Thrive House, our 4-bed residential children's home in Gillingham, Kent.

Key Responsibilities for Residential Care Worker
* Build meaningful relationships with children, providing consistent emotional and practical support.
* Support the development and implementation of care plans tailored to each child's needs.
* Promote children's education, health, and well-being in line with their individual care plans.
* Contribute to a safe and nurturing home environment that fosters positive behaviour and development.
* Support children in daily routines, including meals, appointments, leisure, and education.
* Actively participate in team meetings, training, and reflective supervision.
* Complete accurate, timely recordings, reports, and logs as required.
* Follow safeguarding procedures, ensuring the protection and well-being of children at all times.
Essential Criteria for Residential Care Worker
* Minimum of 1 years experience working with children in a residential or social care setting.
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards)
* Ability to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins as part of a rota.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Full UK driving license
