Hygiene Supervisor
To oversee and manage hygiene standards across the site, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations. The role is responsible for implementing policies, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and supporting a culture of safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on experience, and a thorough understanding of hygiene protocols in a fast-paced environment.
Hygiene Supervisor Key Responsibilities
* Conduct regular audits of hygiene practices across all departments to identify risks and drive continuous improvement.
* Deliver staff training on hygiene standards, cleaning procedures, and safe use of tools and equipment.
* Collaborate with other departments to promote and maintain a culture of cleanliness and safety.
* Monitor and manage stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring availability at all times.
* Carry out hygiene audits, compliance checks, and training sessions, providing reports and recommendations for management.
* Ensure all hygiene activities comply with relevant regulations, company policies, and industry best practice.
Hygiene Supervisor Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in a hygiene supervisory or management role, ideally within food manufacturing, FMCG, or a similar environment.
* Strong knowledge of health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
* Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to train and influence staff.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* COSHH Training (required).
* Food Safety Training (required).
