Working for a specialist engineering firm that designs, manufactures and installs bespoke work in the construction industry.
Job Description
* Produce GA's working to Datum's and Grid lines.
* Produce detailed fabrication drawings.
* Design staircases, balustrades and secondary steelwork.
* Produce drawings using AutoCAD/Inventor/SolidWorks. All platforms are available to users.
* Manage projects including some of the UK’s highest profile construction projects.
* Work from own initiative.
* Communicate well with customers/suppliers.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience using AutoCAD is essential.
* Experience with BIM or Tekla essential.
* Experience in SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor is essential.
* Experience within steelworks or metalworks would be highly advantageous; we will consider a CAD Designer who has used other materials.
* 3D experience vital and ideally 3‑D modelling.
Locations
Commutable from: Stoke on Trent, Fenton, Longton, Uttoxeter, Cheadle, Leek, Newcastle under Lyme, Keele, Stone, Stafford and surrounding areas.
Hours
Monday – Friday. Start and finish times flexible between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Salary
£45,000 – £55,000 per annum.
