Job overview
We have an exciting opportunity in our Clinical Investigations Unit. The successful candidate will work effectively as part of the team, providing high-quality patient care and undertaking cardiology physiological tests such as ECGs, ambulatory BP, cardiac monitors, and exercise testing, including lead exercise testing and interpretation of results.
The role involves working within a team environment, providing clerical and administrative support, and being flexible to the service needs, including travel across sites.
Main duties
* Recording and interpreting resting 12-lead ECGs
* Ambulatory monitoring setup (ECG, BP, memory devices)
* Assisting in clinical exercise testing and chest pain clinics
* Supporting doctor-supervised stress testing
* Performing exercise testing with lung function
* Support in pacing and complex device clinics
* Monitoring ECGs for Adenosine investigations

Our hospitals include Furness General Hospital, Royal Lancaster Infirmary, and Westmorland General Hospital, along with community healthcare facilities across Morecambe Bay.

* BSc Hons Degree in Clinical or Cardiac Physiology or equivalent
