Electrical Engineer – Balfour Beatty (@one Alliance)

As an Electrical Engineer within one of our four business units, you’ll provide electrical engineering technical input to projects in the Anglian Water region.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and specify LV electrical installations and distribution systems, including specification schedules, data sheets and drawings.
* Design and specify LV assemblies, including specification schedules, data sheets and drawings (e.g. MCC, LV switchboards and control panels).
* Review LV electrical designs produced by framework contractors (e.g. electrical schematics, cable calculations and termination diagrams).
* Liaise with others on technical issues, the construction team, operations, suppliers and utility companies.
* Specify and select instrumentation based on the process design.
Qualifications
* Demonstrable experience as an electrical design engineer.
* Strong electrical engineering background.
* Willingness to collaborate and work with a multidisciplinary team to solve complex problems.
* Experience in the water industry is an advantage.
* Full UK driving licence – site visits will be required.
