Your role as a Learning Support Assistant will include: Supporting students to access the mainstream curriculum effectively. Attending classes with specific pupils and providing 1:1 support. Helping to regulate pupils emotionally and behaviourally. Delivering small group or individual intervention sessions when required. Working within the ARP to support SEND provision across the school. Essential requirements for the Learning Support Assistant role: A 1:1 or 2:1 degree from a top 20 UK University. A genuine passion for education and a desire to move into Psychology or Teacher Training. Proactive, dedicated, and flexible approach to supporting young people. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively. Previous SEND child-based experience is desirable.
