Job Summary
We may conduct our interviews in person or using Microsoft Teams for video calling. All you need is a device with a camera and access to the internet. We will provide guidance and instructions on how to use this method if your interview is being held virtually.
This post is based within our Education Directorate. North Ayrshire Council is committed to providing the best possible education outcomes to learners with additional support needs. This new post has been created to lead our Outreach Support Service, who support around 600 learners with needs such as sensory impairment, English as an Additional Language and those at risk of disengagement from education.
Applicants must have experience in a promoted teacher post and of managing additional support needs of learners. Applicants applying for their first permanent Head Teacher post must hold the Standard for Headship or be working towards this.
