Job Description Biocomposites is an international medical devices company that engineers, manufactures, and markets world leading products for use in infection management in bone and soft tissue. Based in Keele, UK, it has global operations across Europe, USA, Argentina, Canada, China, and India. Biocomposites is a world leader in the development of innovative calcium compounds and bone cements for surgical use. Its products regenerate bone and target infection risks across a variety of specialties, including musculoskeletal infection, orthopaedics, trauma, spine, foot and ankle, podiatry, and sports injuries. Biocomposites products are now used in over one million procedures per annum and sold in more than 100 countries around the world. Lead the group’s data strategy and associated reporting capabilities. Support and maintenance of the group’s Salesforce CRM platform. Responsibilities: Working with the Head of IT, lead the data strategy to enhance the reporting capabilities of the group. Design, develop and implement a suitable data architecture for our Epicor ERP and Salesforce CRM data. PowerBI reporting. Development of SQL scripts \ Python code as needed. Salesforce administration and configuration as needed. Support call logging and management. Liaising with 3rd Party Support. Assisting other team members as and when required. Required Experience: Level 5 qualification or higher in a technical field. Previous experience as Data Engineer. Strong skills managing data warehouse \ lake platforms, Devops. Strong PowerBI skills are essential. Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills. Accepts and actively seeks responsibility also able to prioritise tasks. Flexible work to cover busy periods (month end and manage time issues from overseas needs) Minimum 5 years relevant practical experience within the data engineering function. Worked in a similar role within a high growth business with international subsidiaries / exposure. Ability to be in the office 3 out of 5 days per week. What do we offer?
