Prospero Teaching is seeking a committed and reliable year 3 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Rochdale. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable classroom experience and make a positive impact on children’s learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the class teacher with daily classroom tasks and routines
Support individual pupils and small groups across various subjects
Help prepare resources and organise the classroom environment
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning
Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
Always follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies
Requirements:
A minimum of 12 weeks experience in a UK primary school
A positive, patient and proactive attitude
Up-to-date safeguarding training (or willingness to complete)
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Two professional references from recent school roles
