Location: Lincoln and Surrounding Areas Contract: Full-time, Term-time Only Right Education are working with specialist primary settings across Lincoln and the surrounding areas to recruit a passionate and creative SEN Class Teacher. This is a brilliant opportunity to make a real difference supporting children aged 5–11 with autism, learning difficulties, and complex needs. You’ll be part of a dedicated team providing personalised learning that helps every child grow in confidence, independence, and academic ability. Your role will include: Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons suited to individual learning needs Creating a calm, inclusive and safe classroom where every child feels valued Working closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and families to support each pupil’s development Encouraging communication, emotional regulation and key life skills alongside academic learning Tracking and reporting progress in line with each child’s Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) What we’re looking for: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching or supporting children with autism, learning disabilities or complex needs (preferred) A creative, patient and adaptable approach to teaching Strong communication and teamwork skills A positive attitude towards behaviour management and inclusion Training in Team Teach, Makaton, PECS or Autism Awareness is desirable but not essential — what matters most is your commitment to helping children thrive.
