All Locations Peterborough Job Function Transport & Logistics Type Fixed Term The Role & Key Responsibilities Job Title: National Transport Planner Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, UK Contract, Shift: Six months Fixed Term Contract, Part Time – Monday, Tuesday & Friday – 8 hours per day We offer hybrid working; however, this role requires onsite presence in Peterborough on Tuesdays and at least two days per week during the training period. This role goes beyond standard planning—it’s an opportunity to work on meaningful projects, collaborate with a motivated team, and contribute to the efficiency of our transport operations. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective transport plans that optimise efficiency and performance. Analyse data and schedules to enhance route planning and resource allocation. Collaborate with teams across departments to ensure continuous improvement in transport processes. Maintain clear and effective communication with management teams and sites across the UK to ensure reliable service delivery. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify opportunities for improvement. Represent drivers' feedback to ensure performance-driven efficiencies are implemented. Prioritise safety and O’Licence compliance, ensuring all transport operations meet legal and regulatory requirements.
