About the role
The Executive Business Analyst is responsible for transforming unstructured discussions, ideas, and priorities into clear, structured outputs that enable faster, better decision-making and execution across the business.
Working in close partnership with the CEO and Chief of Staff, you will drive clarity, create high-quality strategic materials, and ensure priorities translate into action.
This is a high-impact role for someone who combines structured thinking, strong communication and delivery in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Strategic Synthesis & Output Creation
* Translate CEO discussions, meetings, and ideas into clear, structured outputs, including Strategy documents, Business plans, Investor materials, Executive summaries.
* Identify key themes, trade-offs, and decisions emerging from meetings
* Translate ideas into actionable plans and recommendations
* Ensure all outputs are concise, high quality and decision ready
CEO Preparation & Strategic Support
* Prepare the CEO for key meetings with structured briefing documents, strategic context and insights, key questions and positioning
* Support development of fundraising and investor materials, strategic partnership proposals and product and market strategies
* Ensure the CEO enters meetings fully prepared with clarity and direction
Strategic Execution & Coordination
* Work closely with the CEO and Chief of Staff to support execution of key priorities
* Track progress across strategic initiatives and ensure alignment across teams
* Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies impacting delivery
* Ensure actions and decisions are followed through to completion
Meeting Integration & Executive Support
* Attend key meetings with the CEO where required
* Synthesise discussions into clear decisions, actions, and structured outputs
* Provide real-time support to ensure the CEO has the information needed
Research & Insight Development
* Conduct targeted research to support CEO decision-making, including Market insights, Competitive landscape and Partnership opportunities
* Support decision making through evidence-based analysis
AI-Enabled Analysis & Workflow (How the role operates)
* Leverage AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot) to analyse and structure complex information, generate high-quality first drafts of outputs and improve speed and quality of deliverables
* Design and maintain repeatable workflows for, meeting capture → synthesis → output and ongoing strategy tracking and updates
Travel & Executive Support
* Travel with the CEO to key meetings, events, and international engagements where required
* Provide on-the-ground support during critical strategic initiatives
* Maintain flexibility to operate across global time zones and priorities
Experience
We are looking for someone who thrives in high-performance, fast-moving environments and is comfortable operating with high levels of autonomy and proximity to senior leadership.
Essential
* 3–7 years’ experience in a high-performance environment such as strategy / consulting, venture capital / investment, high-growth startup or scale-up or CEO Office / Chief of Staff environment
* Demonstrated ability to synthesise complex information into clear outputs
* Strong experience producing executive-level documents and presentations
* Excellent written communication with a focus on clarity
* Strong analytical and structured thinking capability
* Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
* Advanced PowerPoint and document creation skills
* Proven ability to use AI tools to enhance output quality and speed
Desirable
* Experience working in fast-growth or international organisations
* Exposure to fundraising, investor materials, or strategic partnerships
* Experience supporting board or executive-level decision-making
* Familiarity with building or optimising AI-enabled workflows
Pay: £65,000.00-£75,000.00 per year (Fixed term - 12 months)
25 Days Holiday plus bank holidays
