Overview
Our client is a leading Truck HGV supplier and service provider looking for a Parts Adviser to join their small established team. The company has been recognised as a Top Employer in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify, source, and supply parts to customers and workshop for the service and repair of HGVs.
* Handle parts enquiries from customers and the service department.
* Liaise with suppliers about prices, availability, and delivery times.
* Maintain accurate stock levels and manage inventory using internal systems.
* Support workshop staff by ensuring parts are ready and available for scheduled jobs.
* Keep records updated and assist with stock audits as required.
* Provide excellent customer service, both in person and over the telephone.
Requirements
* Experience in HGV parts.
* Experience in vehicle maintenance and repair within a commercial or heavy vehicle environment is advantageous.
What the Company Offers
* Hours between 7 am – 6 pm on split shifts (38 hours per week).
* Additional requirement to work every other Saturday 7 am – 12 pm.
* Overtime rate 1.5.
