You will be working with higher education students to provide strategies to develop their skills in managing the impact of their condition or impairment on their academic experience. This includes:
1. Managing anxiety
2. Developing concentration and time management skills
3. Prioritising workloads and creating work-life balance schedules
4. Acquiring, recalling, and retaining information in written and spoken language
5. Strategies to develop memory, organisation, attention, and numeracy skills
Requirements:
* Membership of a relevant professional body such as BACP, NCPS, HCPC, BPS, UKCP, COSCA, UMHAN (please contact us for other relevant memberships)
* Experience in a similar role within the last five years (desirable)
* Understanding of the impact of disabilities in higher education
* Permission to work in the UK by the start of employment
* Satisfactory references and other pre-employment checks
