The Role
As a Qualified Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting teachers in delivering lessons, helping students with their learning, and promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Your flexibility and experience will be key to adapting to different school settings and year groups. We have both short-term and long-term opportunities, some of which can lead to permanent positions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support teaching and learning across a range of primary year groups (EYFS to KS2)
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils
* Help implement behaviour management strategies
* Assist with classroom setup and resource preparation
* Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment
* Work closely with the teacher to monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching methods

Skills & Qualifications
Essential:
* Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
* Experience working in a primary school setting within the last 2 years
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Passionate about supporting children and helping them succeed
* Flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
Desirable:
* Experience working with pupils with SEND
* Experience in delivering interventions in literacy and numeracy
* Previous experience working across multiple year groups
