Job Description:
To lead on prevention and intervention to help our residents sustain their tenancies. Our team is based within the Housing Tenancy Management Team and will work with internal and external stakeholders to contribute to the Council's vision of keeping communities safe. The role focuses on intervening and resolving reports of ASB and Domestic Abuse, with quick and accurate referrals/signposting to support residents, especially vulnerable ones, ensuring they feel safe at home. Developing strong partnerships with agencies to assess and manage risks, employing intervention and support measures to secure positive outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
* Address reports of ASB and Domestic Abuse
* Support victims within HRA and General needs stock, conducting risk assessments, referrals, and safety planning
* Attend meetings with stakeholders to resolve ASB cases
* Provide resident-focused responses to complaints and breaches
* Create and manage action plans for case resolution
* Utilize legislation and good practices for preventative and legal action, including mediation
* Conduct interviews with complainants, witnesses, and alleged perpetrators
* Prepare and serve legal notices, represent the organization in court as needed
* Ensure positive customer experience and effective communication
* Build respectful relationships with victims, families, and perpetrators
* Produce concise reports based on evidence and needs analysis
* Handle safeguarding matters promptly and effectively
* Manage complex casework involving vulnerable individuals
Requirements:
* Full driving license and use of a vehicle
* Experience managing tenancy breaches in the public sector
