As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that the service's facilities are fit for purpose, including gardening tasks. You will regularly conduct audits to identify and repair faults, ensuring a safe environment for service users, staff, and visitors.
Working alongside an established team, you will handle various maintenance-related tasks, liaising with contractors to support the upkeep of the service.

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will have:
* Assisting in maintaining the service, buildings, facilities, and equipment to ensure they are fit for purpose.
* Using good DIY skills to maintain the safety of service users.
* Assisting with regular checks and maintenance.
* Supporting the repair and maintenance of all buildings.
* Participating in decorating tasks.
* Liaising with a manager to report faults and defects.
* Participating in a 1-week on-call rota for emergency maintenance.
* Supporting contractors on site and completing all necessary paperwork and tool checks.
To be successful in this role, you will:
* Follow systems and procedures.
* Have previous experience in a maintenance role.
* Work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
* Show courtesy and respect to ensure high-quality service.
* Attend and participate in training sessions and staff meetings.
Where you will be working:
Location: Townfield Lane, Winwick, Warrington, Cheshire, WA2 8TR. Arbury Court provides medium and low secure care and Psychiatric Intensive Care (PICU) for women aged 18 and over with Personality Disorder (PD) and mental illness. Each service has a unique focus to meet the needs of all women. Patients can move through services as their needs change, focusing on their recovery journey.
The service offers personalized assessment and recovery-based treatment pathways for women with complex needs, ensuring care is focused on the individual.
